Our machine shop has been creating precision parts for a wide variety of industrial needs since 1946. William Paynter, the president of Paynter Machine Works, is a second generation machinist himself. His experienced crew stands ready to get to work on your project.

Paynter Machine Works' long experience in machining and wide array of modern production equipment allows us to provide you with the expertise and special machinery you need to finish your projects on time and on budget. We specialize in assisting engineers and managers with implementing and finalizing plans. If you have an idea for a part, but you're not sure how to make it, bring the idea to us! We'll do everything we can to make it a reality.

Our shop is located in Salem, IN. Salem is located 20 miles west of Interstate 65 in the rolling hills of southern Indiana. Paynter Machine Works' machine shop is a short trip from three major metropolitan areas:

• 1 hour from Louisville, Kentucky
• 2 hours from Indianapolis, Indiana
• 2 1/2 hours from Cincinnati, Ohio

We have also worked for firms throughout the Midwest and the continental US.
